The story
I paused the project for two months, not knowing what it could become. Then a stranger posted in the discussion board — and I never stopped building. What followed was a 7-day sprint with Claude as my pair.
The archive exists but sits quiet. I’m not sure what it wants to be.

The sprint: 265 commits, then 327, then 117. Search, citations, boards, RAG Q&A, release tracker — built live, deployed daily.
realufo.org is live, indexed, and growing. I handed its ongoing care to Muse — and kept building.
I’m Hector — a creator. I build things I use, and I build them so everyone can use them.
My work is independent and open: if I make it, the code is public and the site is free. No location, no office — I can be anywhere.
Right now that means realufo.org: taking half a century of declassified government records and making them searchable, citable, and actually readable.
